Terms of Use


To use the Intact Insurance Network Electronic Covernote generator you must abide by these terms and conditions and if you fail to comply with these terms and conditions of use or any subsequent related instructions from Intact Insurance in any way (whether deliberately, negligently or recklessly) you agree to indemnify Intact Insurance in full against any direct or indirect losses, liabilities, costs and expenses incurred by Intact Insurance as a result of your failure to comply with these terms and conditions.

  • You or your client are responsible for completing the MID database for all Motor Trade and all Fleet cases on which changes of vehicle are advised to us on a quarterly, half-yearly or annual declaration basis
  • Only use the system at the site where your Intact Insurance Network account is registered
  • Be logged on to the system with your own unique password as set up by your Broker Administrator
  • Do not use somebody else's password
  • Only issue cover notes for risks that are acceptable to Intact Insurance and within the limits of your authority
  • Only issue cover notes for Intact Insurance policies to the policyholder shown on the cover note and in accordance with such instructions issued by Intact Insurance from time to time
  • Not give policyholders more than one copy of their cover note. Such copy to be provided in hard copy to the policyholder directly delivered by hand or sent in the post and not be sent electronically. For the avoidance of doubt any cover note sent electronically shall be deemed not to be a valid certificate of insurance as this must be provided in hard copy format only
  • Collect the policyholder's copy when cancelling a cover note
  • Not issue cover notes for fraudulent purposes
  • Intact Insurance reserves the right to withdraw this service immediately and without notice for any reason
